I really don’t particularly care for cowards. I place John McCain in this camp as well as Blanche Lincoln, Mark Pryor (“democrats” from the backwater refuge of Wal-Mart and Tyson) and the rest of the republican goofballs in the US Senate.

I think this cartoon summarizes it perfectly:

Anyone who is willing to give their life in the service of this country should be honored, respected and held up as an example of a real “hero”.

I can only hope that one day people look back at filibustering the repeal of Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell policy and conclude that it was a cowardly and craven act. John McCain is craven and cowardly.

Shame on you. Shame.

Yes, I know – it isn’t cool to love the French. I guess I don’t love all the French – especially not Parisians – but I can appreciate their willingness to go one step beyond where everyone else will ever go in order to make a point. The pragmatic reality that this ad will do more to inform younger males is undeniable.

I know “douche” and “douche bag” have become a bit overused and overwrought in 2009, but I really can’t think a more appropriate term for Joe Lieberman. Asshole is so – underwhelming. It really doesn’t capture the full range of vileness that Joe has become. The total lack of self-awareness is quite stunning actually – does he really think that the folks outside the DC beltway can’t see that his “deeply held beliefs” are nothing more than an old man’s scream of “GET OFF MY LAWN!”
